Morning all - it's a lovely morning here too Flo. High cloud, quite a bit of blue sky and sunshine. Just typical that I have to go and babysit this afternoon when I could be at the plot. So, the plan is to get all my domestic jobs done this morning so that I can have a couple of hours down at the allotment tomorrow around the middle of the day, before coming home to cook an early supper for the family. Got some bargain strawberry plants at L*dl last night - 6 Elsanta for 1.49 - and they seem strong and healthy. Off to dive into the shower and get myself together. Have a lovely day whatever you are doing.

Morning All
Someone has pinched my back garden .....no hold on its just the thick cold fog we have. Beginning to feel human today so will be off over the plot once the fog has lifted a bit.
I hope you all have productive days

Morning all..
Many things to do today; some I want to do, some I don't...
Included in the want to category are plant my foxgloves, sow more tomatoes, start making my mini tunnels...
Included in the not category are mend puncture on ride-on mower, mow the lawns and much weeding...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly

Well...I'm glad some of you have sunshine...we too have thick fog!
I can just about see about 100 ft.
Supposed to burn off later....it might be clearer by the coast though!
Going to make a flask of coffee to take with us.
It's lovely just stopping and staring at the waves breaking on the beach with a hot mug of coffee in your hands.
No one else there...just the sound of birds and the sea.
We should do it more often!Last edited by Nicos; 12-03-2016, 09:55 AM."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Good afternoon, and a glorious one at that, sat over the plot in short sleeves and enjoying the sun on my back.
Just been tidying the beds after their long winters nap and adding a little food to the soil. Think I have decided my bed plan but that will probably change before I get to plant things out.
Oh and as an after thought.....,come on England!

Another sunshiny day here too. I've cleared and chipped a new path; a diagonal one to make a short cut between the southern distributor road and the trampoline roundabout Need to dig out a hawthorn stump (ouch) for the next link road.
I'd appreciate your help, GL, as the Vine's Master stump remover

VC could'nt you leave it where it is and turn it into a little fairy tree house - hours of fun gouging out bits for a door and windows etc and make it a focal point for your next link road?I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison
