Oh lottie so sorry to hear your news! Thinking of you and your family. If it's any consolation my mum had 6 strokes in the one day a few years ago. She is 85 now and is still out and about shopping, jumping on and off buses etc. if they get you early enough you can get over it pretty much unscathed. Will keep you in my thoughts, let us know how things go. xsigpic

Dolly thoughts are with you, and sending up a prayer.
Dull and misty start to the morning and not a sign of the sun.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Morning all.
So sorry to hear Dolly that Mr LD is poorly. My dad had a major stroke 2 years ago and he has made a full recovery. In fact he was back at work 6 weeks later. My mom isn't the worlds greatest driver so I drove to and from Worcester hospital twice a day. Plus it was the school holidays so I was juggling kids, OH to and from work and sorting my mom and dad out. So I know what you mean Dotty about being in auto pilot mode. So my thought and hugs are sent to you.sigpic

So sorry to read about your bad news Lottie It must have been quite a shock. My thoughts are with you and your family and especially MR LD. Glad to hear you have got some support to help you through a troubling time.
OH is delighted because I woke up virtually unable to speak. Have had a sore throat for a few days and today has rendered me speech-less. OH is reveling in it because I am unable to pass comment on anything so he's had a really peaceful day.LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
