Morning Girls'n'BB'n'all from a cool but dry Nestland, it's a bit overcast but it's not stopping the weeds from making an appearance so off with their heads I say................Have a good one.

Strange outside today there is a big cloud hanging over us that is slightly orange (almost looks like it would snow, if you know what i mean) we have had a couple of spots of rain but thats about it.
Some of my courgettes have to be planted out today they are already root bound and not happy, luckily there are plenty of plants. I have a few last potatoes that need to go out, they should have been planted over a month ago whoops, lots of water when it gets warmer and hopefully they will be ok.
Just was browsing the net and seen that poor Alan Rickman has been another taken by the dreaded cancer, i loved watching him on screen, we watch die hard every xmas

Good morning all from an absolutely miserable Dublin. Cold, wet, dull and thoroughly miserable. We had the same yesterday so you could call the weekend a total washout.
Having said that, I decided to do a blitz on all the presses and wardrobes in the three bedrooms and the charity shop will be very pleased with my contributions and I have more space to buy more stuff to pack in the presses all over again.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Please does anyone know what this is, it's growing all around my blackcurrants, it pulls up very easily, but I don't want to pull it up if it's going to turn into something beautiful![
Someone else suggested that, I thought camomile had a strong smell? And would it just 'appear'? I haven't planted anything there apart from Love in a Mist.
My goodness you are right!! I've just 'googled' Nigella, and it's also known asLove in a Mist, and yes, I threw some of those seeds down a couple of years ago, they must have self seeded.
No chance of sunburn it was not nearly as nice weather as yesterday. However that was a good thing because we dug out the turf ready for one of the raised beds and got it all forked over. So just as well it wasn't too hot.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
