  • Morning,
It's still patchy with snow here, but it's so slippy. Nearly fell a few times. I'll be glad when my dinner round is over then I can come back home and stay warm. It's so cold out there.

Going get warm now before I have to go out again. Have a good day.

    • Morning all. Very cold and wet here again today. Going to allotment today to see who is about. Haven't been down for a bit. Will see who is about and how many weeds have started to grow.
      Have a good day everyone

        • Morning all,
Very bright sunny morning but so so windy.
I have only just started to forgive the horrible weather for killing some of my special plants.
Have to go out and do lots of jobs but might just light the fire earlier and plant seeds in front of it

Have a lovely day and stay safe no more falling or almost falling
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

          • Happy Monday
Raining hard but the "men" are sawing away regardless. One's up another ash tree doing some "pruning", the others are logging and shredding. Don't envy them in this weather. its their last day, then I start re-planning the garden
Take care everyone if you have to go out in the snow and ice.

Very late start for me this morning...trying to be a domestic goddess.....but given up!

                Very fine sleet falling here.
                We were 'promised' 7cm snow

                • Didn't go to the pub yesterday. I had a call from a friend who had to work a double shift and couldn't get home as the buses stop at 6pm on a Sunday. When my son was doing a weekend job there weren't any at all. So a very sober day.

No sner either, just rain. Looks like the same again today. I'll light the fire and get on with my sewing. There's a Town Meeting tonight which I have to go to and as chair of one of the town council committees I need to explain what it's doing for the next year.

                  • Good morning all. A very dull morni g but its dry so thats good. Millions of little bits and bobs to do today as everything went on the long finger while I was painting.

                    • Morning all!

It's dry here and the sun has just come out, so I'm thinking of wrapping up warm and going out to varnish the rest of my greenhouse matting trays.

It's a big day today - later on I get to learn the results of my post-chemotherapy tests. Fingers crossed.

                            • Good luck Martin.
I'm off to the charity shop this afternoon armed with a coconut cake baked yesterday.
I don't like coconut in cakes, but the ladies need a change. Mince pies and biscuits are still piled up, given by our lovely customers.
Bit nippy outside, but snow is a distant memory now, no more forecast at all.
Have a very happy Monday whatever you are doing
