Good evening Folks, quite a surprising week-end, 2 dry days, although it was raining when i got home the back of one this morning, but managed to cut a fair number logs for the fire, I was burning rhododendron wood today, it has been drying for about two years and it gives off a great heat, I have now removed the raised bed that I had in the greenhouse, so now will need to think on where I will use growbags or not. I note that Nicos is cutting out alcohol, just to let her know, I bought a bottle of whisky and lost twelve pounds Well I wish You all a good night, and have a good week. Oh the twelve pounds I lost, thats what the bottle cost and the bl***y thing fell and broke. Goodnight.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

It's never good to hear of shed break-ins.. why on earth do these people think its ok to take something other people have worked hard to buy!? grrrr..

Not much happened, did get dragged round B&M and failed to walk passed the blueberry plants for £1.69 without buying one, I've already got 2 in the ground at captains retreat but it was a different variety, and it was £1.69 so it had to be done!
that reminds me, must resurrect the captains retreat thread! a few changes since I was last here.

Morning all. Wasn't able to get online last night so just catching up a bit. Sorry to hear about the break in SJ. Like everyone has said lets hope they need the first aid box for themselves.
Think today is going to be a cleaning day. I try and do it every Monday but usually get side tracked by someone or something.

Late night last night...went to see Star Wars...in English
It was absolutely brill. Finished at midnight and there were only 14 of us in the whole cinema!
I asked one French lady ( subtitles) what she thought of it and she shrugged and threw a pout and said bah....zere waz a lot of fighting...pout...in ze sky...bah.

This cough has escalated and my ears hurt, I feel rough.
Taken paracetamol and will feel good as new shortly.
Our heating has not come on this morning, but be quite warm in here

Morning all,
Bright lovely sunny day here, should get some digging and weed pulling done today, i hope i want to sprinkle some more cut and come again leaves, as i love them so. There are a lot of things i should be sowing.
Nico´s i am not a star wars fan in fact i would even go as far as not liking it because of the obsession the world seems to be under! but the OH dragged me to a showing of the new one and i really really enjoyed it, i was sat in the cinema for about 30mins just eating popcorn when i realised actually this is quite good.

Morning all, dark and windy and it's just started raining, you know, the wet kind of rain or smirr as we call it here! It's so dark that the dogs are still asleep. Housework for me today. Soup is ready for lunch so don't have to think about that.

Good morning all. We had sun until about ten minutes ago, now omonous black clouds are rolling in and the wind is picking up. It doesnt look good.
Off to have a Visual Field Test this morning as I have Glaucoma and have to have my eyes checked every few months.

Good morning,
I have never been a fan of Star wars. But my OH wanted me to watch the other Star wars films before we went and watched the new one. And I did really enjoy them.
I'm off to the garden centre this afternoon.There is a fish shop in there so OH will be in there while I look around the garden centre. Then I am not sure what I am going to do for rest of the day yet.
