Not a very nice day here, raining and windy.
Looking for something to clear out, I picked in a large box in hubby's wardrobe.
All contents are now on eBay, anything that doesn't sell is destined for the charity shop, the countdown is on lol
Amazing what you can get money for, hopefully.
Nice roast later, got a couple of thick lamb leg steaks to put in the oven. Yum
No jokes about the thick lamb .......

Jay, i would bite the bullet and pick up the phone, you do not need to get along to send good wishes.

Afternoon all. Very wet and windy here again.

Sorry to hear about your BiL Jay. Even though you don't really speak to your sister I think Lisa has appoint about just biting the bullet and ringing her.

Hope everyone has a good afternoon

Jay, so sorry to hear your sad news and just at the beginning of the year as well.
I am sure you must feel in a very awkard sutuation but, if you dont do anything your sister will always feel you didn't bother or care enough at the time.

Nothing to do with biting any bullets, just ring her. She will need as many shoulders to cry on than she knows. It might be a way of talking again and even if not then at least you can't be accused of not caring.

I agree Jay, if you ring & she tells you where to go, at least you know you tried.

I agree with the others - ring your sister - or go round if she's nearby. Its not something you can ignore.

Same advice from me too jay.
                              She must be desperately hurting.
What's the worse that can happen....apart from venting on you?...she may feel better either way in which case you have helped!

It may be the one thing which may bring you closer than you have been for a long time

Jay, with all the advice you have received, you possibly have taken action and contacted your sister, but remember a kind word can melt the hardest heart, and if not, you will know that you made the effort, you would never forgive yourself if you dont
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
