I've just had a phone call out of the blue from someone who asked me out years ago. I was with my late OH at the time and thanked him kindly but no thanks.
I've now been a widow for over 10 years so have asked him to let me think about it and ring me back another day.
Life goes on! go, go, go! Tell us how you get on..we are a nosey lot
Such a lovely evening out, great food and most of the time good company. Sometimes i get such a mardy bum and want to kill the OH but if i am being rational i think not many couples can be with each other since 14, spend 24/7 together and work together and still like each other sometimes you need to forget about pettyness and realise the good and i am very lucky...........most of the time
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them
Is everyone still in bed? Come on you lazy people and wake up
I've not had a good nights sleep, the wind has been waking me up. Sounded bad out there last night. Now I cant hear it and I am wide awake :\
Not doing anything today apart from relaxing on the couch reading and maybe watch a few films. Not sure yet.
Morning, I'm here.
Had a good nights sleep, only woke up once in the night and no coughing till I got up. Hooray
Still bunged up and deaf though
Got to make a cake this morning, oh and more cards. They sell so fast.
Quick question. Some of my seed potatoes are quite big, can I cut them in half at planting time?
Thanks
Have a lovely Saturday
Mornin all n'all!
Weekend again?....gosh that soon appeared!
Looks like we're out again this evening.
A friend is playing in a jazz band( he's REALLY good) and he has 2 spare tickets...should be a fun evening as 2 other friends are already going.
Best scrub up my French again!
NS...yep you can cut them at planting time( not that I've done it myself)
"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
Off over the plot soon, not sure what I will be doing as the ground is too wet for digging. Not been over in the week so withdrawal is setting in. Might give the greenhouse a good scrub and a nosey around
Good morning all, damp outside, looks like tis getting brighter, now what to do today hum hum, think feeding the washing machine first, when sons has done, best grab a place in the queue,
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these
We had a little bit of rain last night hurrah only damped the ground but it saves me watering today, the sun is out bright this morning and it is quite nice and warm.
We have a few very busy days ahead so going to take it easy today and have a nice saturday lunch instead of sunday lunch
Hopefully will make some marmalade with all the oranges.
re the potatoes wait till you see the eye´s, and leave atleast 2 or 3 on each cutting. When you have cut them leave out to dry for a coupe of days before planting or they can rot in the ground. Personally i do not cut them, just get them a bit more space.
have a lovely saturday x
