  • Morning all
No real improvement in the weather. Maybe a slightly bigger gaps between big gusts. Just about to go out, let things out and see what's been going on. Wish me luck.
Today I will be re building the turkey run as it decides to have a lie down yesterday!

Today I shall be having the winter growth trimmed back so as not to look quite so much like Captain Birdseye & then onwards to have a look around Chester

Well I wish You all a good night, and just think the weekend is comeing closer Goodnight
Rary I love the feel and smell of book so was never interested in a Kindle reader until the other year now I do most of my reading using it. There's plenty of fee books and Fanfiction so there's lots to chose from, I can't get on with gardening books on the Kindle though just fiction.

                  • Morning all, sorry to hear you are unwell Nicos and glad you have recovered from your lurgie Jack.

We were down in South Ayrshire for the weekend where there was absolutely no internet access, not even via my phone! Had a lovely time but it was very windy and snowy! Got lots of pages to catch up on on the Vine so will go as have a look at a few.

Did you all survive Henry VIII? Was very blustery here but not too bad.

Hope you all have a lovely day.

                    • Bit of a breeze up here but I think we have got off lightly unless the storm has yet to reach us . It was a bit rough in the middle of the night mind. I'm just down a ladder after sanding off the gutters and fascias at the front of the house. Well the lower ones anyway. Too breezy to tackle the dormer ones and anyway, it's raining now

                              • Given you still had a job when you went in on Monday, I think that we can safely assume that you missed nothing, Trip.

In other news, it's been too windy to get out on a bike (but you knew that), but not to get out on your own two feet - I belted 5 miles round the town on a club run last night in 10k target pace. You?
