I am enjoying a sneaky glass of rhubarb wine with a bit of (yellow sticker) supper after Friday Pub Night. Should have been tucked up an hour ago in prep for tomorrow's 5k; but plans have changed! Not least because of the MASSIVE STORM gracing our locale; and I am not quite that mad.
The downside of the cancellation is that I *would have* felt VERY WORTHY having battled with three hundred others against the elements and would have been home and in a painfully hot bath by mid morning in maximum smug mode. The plus side is that I am enjoying aforesaid rhubarb wine; a lie in tomorrow, and an avoidance of any sort of unnecessary hypothermia.
Best dressed for me then?
I'll take the best wellies in that case...I'm hopefully weeding again today before the rain sets in for the week.
Tis pretty blustery out there
What's everyone else up to?
Wendy...hope you had a better sleep last night ( sends another big hug) X

Morning all, where is everybody today? All having a lie in I suspect.
A beautiful sunny morning here and the waves are rolling. Much calmer than yesterday and I think we are going to have a lovely sunny day.
Off out shortly for a long walk.
Hope all gave a good day.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
I'm up! Just about ....
Dull, damp and grey. That describes outside today.
No gardening of any sort done yet, apart from potato chitting, my hands are numb from being sat on.
Mind you, the time is flying so I will catch up with you lot soon I hope.
Saturday morning means boiled egg and soldiers, my hubby has perfected boiling eggs over the years, and I've let him.
still awaiting the breadmakers arrival, been looking at tons of receipes, but haven't bought any ingredients that I need. Reason - still haven't confessed that I've bought it. What a wuss

I am still in bed Not moved yet. OH is working so I am having a lazy day(And I am going to enjoy it)
Okay I lied when I said I have not moved from bed yet, I've been up and got my overnight porridge oats and fruit what I made last night and then brought it back to bed with me.
Raining here and I have all these towels to dry. Daughter is in London for the weekend so youngest GG is coming to stay and the other two have invited themselves for Sunday breakfast. That makes 5 for Full English. Enjoy your Saturday
