  • Jay have you tried unbleached tripe? I swore by it for my GS's. They loved it and it's easy on the stomach too. The only trouble with it is that it smells a bit!

    • When my dogs are off their food, I give them scrambled egg and tuna (not together!). They like cooked chicken liver too. Hand feeding off a fork or from a human plate after pretending to have eaten some yourself can work too.

They are supposed to be a breeding trio. But my boy giblets didn't do the business last year. I'm hoping it was because he was only a youngster and he will do his job better this year. If they do breed, all the youngsters will be Christmas turkeys. There eggs are lovely. They are a bit creamier than chicken eggs but not as rich as duck eggs. And yes they are big

It's tequila, cassis and a bottle of Orchard Pig Totally Minted as mixer with some crushed ice, yum. One is enough though on a school night

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

              • Evening all, thanks for all the suggestions. Took Alfie to the vet she agrees he looks a bit sad so she is taking him in tomorrow morning to run some blood tests, maybe do a scan and if they can, flush the lump. She couldn't believe how much it had shrunk. We came home and I started to cook dinner, who was behind me? Alfie...interested but not ready to eat. Been up and about a bit but still wobbly on the old pins but then again if you hadn't eaten since Sunday you would be the same. Will go shopping while he is with the vet and buy a few of the suggested things...sorry Flo, don't think I could do the tripe...maybe as a last resort. That's worse than sardines for breakfast!
