That's ridiculous NS, daylight robbery. Surely pay as you go should be just that and the money you have on your phone should continue on to the next month?! These mobile phone companies get away with murder as the saying goes!

Dark here too. Waiting for the garage to pick the car up to fit it with a new "brain". Non technical car word. Then it's cleaning time. The cats wet paws have made an absolute mess of the wooden floor.
Jay- I quite like ironing so you can send it my way if you like!

Wendy, how come your not in school? Mine started back Tuesday.
Sally, did you look at giff gaff? I'm sure they do roll over. Though these days I think you get better value with a sim only contract on a joint account. I have 4phones and pay much less on a contract with the kids phones than PAYG. All 4 come as a package (all of us use it lots, especially download).

Dry morning here after a very rainy evening and night! Typically yesterday evening was the evening I picked to go for my first 5k run of the year
Kids went back to school yesterday and all went ok..Probably hit them today! Visit to the dentist for me today for 2 fillings So looking forward to thatI dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Morning all,
Still so windy here, getting frustrated by myself as i never used to get ill, always seemed fine but this past couple of months, i feel like i am coming down with something on and off, it never develops into anything but it´s almost like i need to get it out of my system. meh, nice to moan on here as i really do not like complaining to the OH when he is going to all his stuff.
Feeling very nervous today we should find out if the OH needs anymore surgery or what the next steps are, really hoping its not surgery he just built up a lot of his strength back. I know he is very nervous as well.
The mobiles are pretty much the same as over here, you get every time you top 10e free 20 mins talk, 50 texts, etc but we do not even use that. It´s mainly for emergencies.
Enjoy your day and lunchI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Morning all - from my vantage point behind the desk, it looks like it's dull, but not actually raining at the mo.
Nice going, Trip - I don't mind running in the rain provided it's not straight in your face.
I'm stiff as a board after yesterday evening's first speedwork session of the year at the track. I've been 'bumped up' an ability group which meant the reps were longer than I expected - and there were plenty of them. Nice to see the rest of the gang, though, and a couple of new girls at about my pace to contend with over the next few weeks.

More phone faffing to do today. Hubby had a proper pay as you go tarrif on the phone he lost. I.e. Put £10 on and top up when credit has been used.
Can't seem to find anything like that now - it was an old phone.
So it's £10 a month, use it or lose it. He just cannot get his head round that fact.
Me? I've signed up for £5 a month , cause I hardly ever use it.
Have a great day folksit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Rain and sun alternating all day.
Seen loads of wonderful rainbows!
Managed to buy 30 winter pansies and 20 small wallflowers for €16....around £12... And they're all planted out!
The front of the house suddenly looks so much more pretty.

Blummin cold here now. I've been standing outside with the local builder, eyes watering, shivering in my 3 layers of fleece. He had little more than a T shirt and seemed immune to the cold.
I wanted him to look at a leak in a disused chimney. We moved seamlessly through, taking down the stack, which needs scaffolding and a skip, painting the house while the scaffolding's here, fixing some slates. replacing the fascia board, repointing some brickwork, removing the front hedge and building a wall and some other bits and pieces. All jobs on my To Do list, so, maybe now's the time - and all because of some rain coming down the chimney.
Need coffee to warm up - would you like some? I have Cake
