Morning all. We had a lovely orange sunrise earlier but its turned kinda dull here now. Very cold but dry.
More painting for me today as the one coat didnt do the job.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Afternoon all.
Had a very active day so far. Paid a visit to an elderly customer and got treated to a cuppa. Delivered a few invoices. Came home and started painting cast iron gutters. Got the top ones done no problem but there must have been water leeking from a spoutbolt on the lower one and Hammerite doesn't seem to like that. So rain stopped play, just not rain that fell today .
Then spent some time playing with a xmas present. A Macallister powerfile/belt sander thingummy. Rusty wrought iron gate got prepared for painting. Used 5 belts so I suppose that may be quite an expensive exercise but it made a cracking job.
Gave up after that as it had turned really cold. Only noticed that when \i stopped but my tootsies are still cold and that's after a hot drink.
