    • Morning all. Think to day is going to be a coffee day. Will was very sick during the night and I saw every hour in. He finally stopped 3.30ish, I know that because I checked the clock as I crashed back into bed. I don't know how he does it but he got up at 6.30 as bright as a button. Got a cough starting though.
OH has the day off work so we might try and get the kids down the park.
      Have a good day everyone

        • Morning all, been up since 6 o clock, sitting in my comfy armchair dozing on and off
Just eaten a perfect soft boiled egg with fresh bread, my hubby's great isn't he.
You can all guess what's on my agenda today, I think I might as well sleep st the shop lol.
Once our back yard gardening starts, there will be something else for me to do, and I look forward to it.
Now if I had a greenhouse, then it would be a different story .........
          Have a great day everyone

          • Morning all. Sunshine! Yay! Watery but still ..... Nothing important to do this morning, just domestic stuff. Off to Crewe this afternoon to babysit - son and daughter in law have a date night
I had a note through the letterbox when I returned from work yesterday. The lawn treatment people had been and I had locked the back gate (cos I forgot they were scheduled ); they gave me a date when they were going to try again. Included was the instruction NOT to cut the grass for 3 days prior to their visit! HA! The lawn has been so damn wet that the only way I could keep the grass down would be to get a couple of water buffalo in. Free day tomorrow - hoping to get some garden related stuff done. Might even venture to the allotment.

            Have a good day all.

                  • Morning all. No sunshine here today, just a very dull morning.
We had the most beautiful sunny day yesterday and the temp got up to 13deg.
No rain forecast so all good.

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                    • Morning all...

Windy but dry here, so not yet sure what my plans include...
Might fire up my homemade sand propagator out in the garage, and let the sand start heating up..
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                      ...utterly nutterly

                        • Wendy surely you should be doing this BEFORE the hairdressers arrives?

Afternoon all, a bit late today. Dull and not too cold here. Daughter and SiL home from Thailand safe and sound after a 13 hour delay in Dubai! You have to pay for your lovely holiday somehow don't you!! Poor them

Anyhoo, hope you all have a lovely day.

I make sure I get my K & B vitamins too which are supposed to help. The Lumie wouldn't be any good as a sewing light as it's yellow, the lightbox maybe, it's blue l.e.d.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

                            • The coffee and walnut scones went down well, so did the soup but boy it was nippy! Maybe a bit too much ginger but the kids on shift loved it. In fact they argued over whogot the leftovers, hee hee.
