The bakewell turned out well - but only went into eight pieces and after a cup of tea, struggle with the crossword and a shout at the tele (Question Time - this week the audience far more sensible that every one of the panel. Again.), there are only six left.
I can't see them lasting long into the weekend, I must say.
In case any of you were thinking of a dib in - in the spirit of transparency (and to deter thieving fingers - you know who you are!), let me also post this of when I caught Domino cat earlier 'helping'...

I went to the doctor in early December with my asthma getting the better of me, strangely the doctor made a link with the amount of heartburn I was getting, literally taking three or four rennie, zantac etc every day.
She prescribed a drug to limit the amount of stomach I produce, apparently stomach acid coming up the food pipe can trick the body into producing asthma symptoms.
She was spot on, and after years of doctors simply doubling my steroids every time my asthma got worse, within two days of taking a pill, my asthma symptoms have almost disappeared, except for exercise or when I get a cold.
This was mid December and with christmas on the horizon, plans were made for 2016 to turn round the weight gain, unhealthy-ness etc..
January 2nd I tipped the scales at 19 stone 5lbs.
Shockingly close to 20 stone.
So with a regime of healthy, restricted calorie eating, and walking, biking I am down to 18 stone 1 pound as of last Saturday.
I'm aiming for 15 stone.<*}}}>< Jonathan ><{{{*>
