  • So sorry Marie and Rary. Think of it this way. They have gone to a better place, no more pain or suffering and they would be happy seeing old family and friends.

With working in care I have noticed that it seems to be around Christmas and around Jan/Feb people seem to pass away. The same again in the summer time. I'd be a mess if I got attached to people in my job.

    • Good morning,

The sun is shining Lazy day number 2 for me again while OH is out working. Relaxing in bed catching up on tv programs and films I wanted to watch. If I had a garden, it would be different. I'd be out there doing things.

      Have a good day

      • Thank you - I appreciate the welcomes back I was a bit nervous about coming back. You know the longer you are out of something - the harder it feels to just jump back in.

But I'm pretty sick of feeling rubbish and want to work on getting a bit of normality and some happiness back. There will be some bad times ahead but I can deal with those better if I'm in a happier frame of mind to start with.

The garden will come good eventually - always a work in progress anyway I'm off to the garden center this morning so that should give me some inspiration. Be nice to get out the house too.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

          • Hi Marie, Lovely to see you again. Sorry about the sad events that have you kept you away. Hopefully, we can bring a little "normality" back into your life - though "normality" is hard to find here at times
Anyway, jump back in, and let's go gardening together

PS Hi to everyone else too
