      Here you are

So belated birthday greetings for the 30th Jan.
Love it! That's brilliant. Well I like cake anytime

That made me nostalgic for my old typewriter too. You just don't get the same thrill with these modern keyboards!

Yes In hindsight I'd have been far better sticking around at least for some moral support and to take my mind off things.

Thank gawd BigMally thought to contact me because I've done too much wallowing (doesn't suit me) and that friendly Gorilla prod was just what I needed. Today, I feel way brighter than I have in a long time. Getting some normality back feels great.

Small kindnesses can mean the world to people who are feeling down. The support on this forum is amazing. Thank you - everyone.

              • Hey Marie, see what happens when you come back. We've arranged an away weekend, camping, to celebrate Hope the weather improves before we go. Don't fancy my tent floating away while I'm snoring, I mean snoozing
Can you bring some bunting please? I'm not sure what it is though - maybe a bird?

                • ^^^^^^^ I wonder if that could be the source of the snoring Im getting blamed for, if I shut down my router at night would that stop it

You just get to the stage of thinking ' whatever can go wrong next?'

Actually, she does keep bobbing back just to remind me so please don't point her in my direction...I'm hoping I've finally shrugged her off

                              • Morning everyone. I got myself out of bed early to top up the bird food this morning. Very windy outside - hope everyone stays safe out there.

Loads of jobs to do that I've put off for ages. No more procrastinating.

@Lottie @Nicos Sometimes when things go wrong, they just seem to snowball and one bad thing after another in a short space of time is super hard to deal with. Keep trying to focus on anything positive and don't let that evil little #!%$# bleeeeep win
