Evening all..

Late reporting in today..

Spent the day on a hired roller after restoning my driveway...more of that tomorrow to look forward to...

Then had a meeting tonight with my racing syndicate about buying a new horse...decisions, decisions.

Is anyone else awake, i cannot sleep, been laying in bed completely wide awake for the last hour or 2 , i do not know why i was so tired and it is perfectly still and quite.

Have been for over an hour.
Listening to the rain, the decided to get up and clean the downstairs bathroom as we have a Book Club meeting here tomorrow, so it'll be one less thing to have to do before they arrive.
The fire was still in so I put an extra log on to keep it going.

Nice to see there are others around at silly o'clock!

Pancakes...mmmm

I'm a bit of a sugar n'lemon lass meself.

I'd normally roll something savoury inside amd make a sauce to go over them but we have lots of food left over from my OH's massive catering session last night....so we'll just have a couple of pancakes for pud as he's not here for lunch.

Best crack on with domestic stuff and to a quick write up about my book 'Brave New World' -Aldous Huxley.

Morning a bit frosty but no wind so I'm happy. its a stay indoors day just until my parcel comes.

Remember pancakes aren't just for today I eat them anytime covered in rhubarb, orange and ginger jam.

With tomorrow forecast also fine for here i may actually get some work done outside, lets hope.

Morning, I was wide awake at 3.30 am. Read a book for a while, next thing I knew it was 8.00 am.
No wonder I get through books quickly
Bit dull here, but the promise of a cloudy/sunny day allegedly awaits us.
Might just have to go shopping for more bread flour.....

Morning all and another glorious morning here. We are off to the supermarket this morning to stock up on veg and whatever else we might fancy. Then off for a long walk on the beach. After that it will be lunch and our daily two games of scrabble.

Morning all,
I got up and did a few jobs, Dusty gave me the most evil stares and hide his head from the lights, had a cuppa, went on eBay put far too many seeds in my basket but did not buy came back to bed around 6ish but laid awake for a long time more, only just woke up at about 9 though, thankfully nothing to wake up early for today.
Wind has really picked up again this morning.

Hey pancakes!, I'd forgotten all about them. Now do you lot stand over the cooker with the kids plates lined up forever and never manage to sit down yourself? Or do you cook them all and then warm them up in the oven?
