To be honest, neither of us are that pushed on the whole Valentine's Day thing...
Too commercial, so I doubt she will be overly upset
...we can grow some flowers!! 😁

Morning all,
Well that was on hell of a windy night, can you still call it a storm when its just wind? The sun is out bright at the moment but it is still like a hurricane, a day to stay inside i think.
I do not really know what to do, all seed sowing has come to a halt, but i did want to do some more brassicas that i lost, so could do them as they do not need to go inside anywhere.
Have a nice day folks and if you do valentines i hope it is nice and romantic for you.I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Morning all. Well, blue skies and some sunshine. Light breeze. It may be OK outside if I layer up. The elderly de-cluttering posts made me smile. My Mum (only 80) and FiL(92) are now doing this and keep passing on their stuff. Trouble is my sons are not as 'tolerant' as me and when I try to pass on stuff, look at me with pitying disbelief and tell me to take it to the Council Tip or an undiscriminating Charity shop. Going to the cinema this evening with #2 son, belated birthday treat - going to see Deadpool which he is quite excited about. I await with interest Have a good day everyone!

Having a weekend break in Inverness using up a hotel gift voucher.
Smy buffday and Valentines too . Had meal with little bruv and wife last night. Two medium to well done steaks may as well have still been eating grass so that was disappointing but the four of us had a rare (get it?) Time nonetheless.
Snowy out but we're heading that way shortly

Sun's out here but perishing cold. I'm going to make a cauldron of stew, to hubble bubble on the stove. Summat to warm me up as I think the next few days are going to be a bit nippy.
Stay warm everyone and enjoy your day
