Afternoon everyone. Just got back from my mom and dads. Kids are stopping the night there as they are now on half term. Have had my hair coloured by my mom, gone slightly lighter brown to cover all the grey up.
So just on line for a few minutes catching up on a few things.
No snow here thankfully. Don't really want it either as OH is in at work for 7am in the morning.
Hope everything is OK on your allotment Cptncrackoff and there's not to much damage or stuff pinched.
Have a good evening everyonesigpic

Evening All
Spent the day doing battle with the last remaining stump over the plot, 6 hours of digging and chopping but the stump is as solid as ever.....next two days are forecast dry so guess what I will be doing
Thankfully no snow here but a bitterly cold NE wind, home now and time for a shower before dinner. Think it might be lamb judging by the smell of cooking food.
Hope you all had good days?

NO snow either We haven't had any at all yet. Looks like we are being missed out this year. Last year we only had half a day of snow and barely enough to enjoy playing with it. I would love to wake up to a nice thick layer of it outside.
Had a quiet and lazy day because the rest of the week will be pretty busy with it being half term.
Made some really lovely tasting cheese scones which I'm having trouble leaving alone. Good job I'm not on a diet I suppose.LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Well, they've been in my shed, but after the last break late in 2014 I decided to leave nothing very valuable in there and didn't even replace the lock, leaving just a brick to keep it shut, figured they always come back!
They've had a look and a ruffle in my she'd but found nothing.... The Swiss army knife is hidden!
Unfortunately they have really gone to town on the society's shed.. They've lost a great deal, the steel doors were smashed in, really can't believe in such a built up area no one was awoken!
Seven other sheds broke into, a few people have lost tillers, strimmers... Same MO as last time, petrol machines only!
Same sheds targeted too.
We had extensive cctv installed last year, we shall see how effective it is... My incling is, not at all!<*}}}>< Jonathan ><{{{*>

No snow here for us. The sun has been out most the day tho. I can't wait until it starts warming up.
Need to iron my uniform tonight and take my pants up. I hate ironing, anyone fancy doing it for me? There is no getting away with not ironing it because it's white and it shows up the creases. Thank god I can get away with ironing my pants with it being dark blue! Ha. I really do dislike ironing.Carrie

Thanks Bren, speaking purely selfishly I've got away fine.
I'm sure the society's machinery is covered by insurance.
Theres an old boy who was pretty upset, thats the annoying thing..
The plot next to mine has two padlocks on their shed, but theyve had a plank snapped off the corner of the door, obviously couldn't see anything worth taking.<*}}}>< Jonathan ><{{{*>

The society's machines are all engraved and marked with smart water but I doubt they'll see them again!
The strimmer I had stolen in 2014 had some 'unique' features from repairs I had done, and although I kept a real good lookout, at the places locally I would expect to find it being sold, there was no sign.<*}}}>< Jonathan ><{{{*>

Sorry...was hardly on the Vine yesterday.
Breakfast in bed.flowers from the garden...absolutely beautiful! Me thinks my OH and Scarlet's had the same idea!
Spent almost 5 hrs weeding one flowerbed and gravel path...potting up self seeded lupins and violets and a couple of other flowers I keep forgetting the name of!
Sunny all day but a really, really chilling wind.
Loooog soak in the bath with a book whilst OH watched the rugby....then we both prepared a lovely meal together.
Really lovely day
Just listening to the rain/ sleet on the window...need to try and get back to sleep.
Can't believe it's Monday already!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
