Morning all. A bit of a chill here. Had to deice the car first thing after OH had done it as it had refrozen it. Mornings are getting lighter here now so spring is on its way
Doing some ebay sorting as my little helpers aren't here. So over there to pick them up about 12ish.

The GGs brought a card and gift for me because they love me - how sweet is that? It's a little heart shaped frying pan. Guess there's an ulterior motive in that somehow

Ditto for me Flo, my GG came round with two bunches of tulips for me 'because it's Valentines Day'
I heard this little voice on the phone saying 'get grandad to open the gates, we are nearly at your house'

Morning everyone Went out to top up the bird food and it is freezing out there, very hard frost in night. But the sun's out this morning so long may it last. Lots of visitors this week so best get on with the housework.

My GH was frozen shut this morning not a good start to the day.

Morning all and a lovely sunny start to the week.Off out for the day as soon as OH is ready. Could'nt really walk yesterday as we literally had a sand storm the wind was so strong, so we sat in the sun on the balcony instead.
Rhe wind seems to have died down today.

We finally have internet back, wow that was one hell of a storm yesterday we even managed to have a little rain and a few hail stones!! it was bl@@dy cold. Even forecast that we might have a slight frost tonight brrrr. Meant to be planting out the new olive trees today but its too cold. God knows what i would do if i moved back to the UK.

Ordering a greenhouse today yay

Afternoon all. Alfie update...not looking good I'm afraid, still not eating of his own accord and now has difficulty walking. Hoping it's the strong antibiotics but deep down I know it's not.

It a beautiful day here, sun is shining but it's very cold. Off to catch up on all the gossip I've missed...have a great day all.

I'm sorry to hear that poor Alfie is not doing so well, Jay. That must be a huge worry for you. Will keep hoping for a turn around.

Today was a good day. First time I've touched the garden in months. So much to do that it felt overwhelming but have definitely made a good start. Emptied out loads of containers with dead flowers in and even found a turnip still left in one which was riddled with holes. Managed to fill the green bin up. Feel tired now and muscles aching but in a good way Having the sun out made a good difference.

I took Bess to the vets this morning for her booster jab. She's a bit chubby since being spayed and the vet asked if I'd like to take her to their doggy diet club I imagined all the dogs sitting around waiting to be weighed, and barking in unison whenever a dog had lost weight Anyway, we're not going. I might have to diet in sympathy!
