Morning all, cold and dreary here.
Was going to have a creative day, but daughter is on a real low, so have just made a huge shepherds pie and will pop over there later
Going to try and clean up her house. She really has let things go, but this is the nature of bi polar, not her.
She is also supposed to be starting a new job next week, we are going to fill in the medical form later. That should be interesting.
Will let you know how we get on

...well done- VERY satisfying....I did the same thing about 30 years ago...an infested apple tree in the middle of our tiny lawned garden. Took me a couple of days on my own , and at least one bottle of Radox!

Been lovely out today apart from a wee spit of rain at one point which came to nowt . Wee bit chilly out now but I don't care I've finished off the fence and gate at the side of the house including getting a coat of preservative on. I'm so chuffed it came out so well but considering I just intended putting on new slats and ended up rebuilding it totally I think I'm entitled to be happy. Her ladyship is happy and as Rary would say, if she is happy, it makes it easier for me to be happy too

Afternoon all, still at our Daughters, this is hard going. Trying to motivate her I mean.
Got a bootfull of rubbish/charity shop stuff. Not even touched the edge, they have got do much stuff it's overwhelming.
Hubby polished the lounge - so many nick nacks arghhhh
I did kitchen, downstairs loo and upstairs bathroom.
Going to pop over to the little Sainsbugs to get a few veg and then think about dinner
Oh, and I'm in need of an inhaler, two cats are not good for me lol

Nobody up yet but I'll say good morning anyway .

Says it is 4 Celsius out there but it is baltic.

I washed her ladyship!s car yesterday but when I had a look just now I'd missed some bits. Remedied that and then polished the boot and the bonnet. Well who looks at the other bits and anyway too cold to do any more just now.

The skies are trying to clear but everything has this really dusty orange feel to it, it happens quite often as sands and dust comes over from the sahara desert, i will take some photos later and show you. I must get on and do lots and lots of jobs and bits and bobs today

Morning all, the weekend went fast didn't it?
Day one of our 'busy week' only we have cancelled our two days in Somerset and going to see my sisters driving there and back in one day.
Our daughter is so fragile I cannot be away in case she needs us
Anyway, I ended up with a whole car load of stuff to bring home, including washing.
Did I say my potatoes are chitting beautifully? Lol

Good mornnig. We have a lovely sunny morning to start off the week. Lots of different bits and bobs to do today so I better get started.

Been up and out early, sorting out posters and flyers for our up and coming seed and plant swap in 3 weeks. ( we do one in the Spring and one in the Autumn...this is our 5th! )

Will spend a couple more hours on splitting up seed packets and then crack on with the weeding. Still tons to do.
Please NEVER allow me again to avoid the autumn clear up

We have a dull, still day and serpently not cold!
