Morning All Bright and sunny, but freezing. Slow progress to my jobs today - tiny cut on my finger end from chipping a plate in the washing up (now classed as a dangerous job) which will not stop bleeding! Patched up for the moment with kitchen roll and sellotape

Morning all. Busy morning so far. Its Wills 6th birthday so we were up early, took OH to work, came back and put Wills new scooter together, sorted two loads of washing out, packaged some bits up for ebay and have got them posted. Oh and the kids are back at school
So I am now sat down with a cuppa. Going to get the clean washing away in a few minutes.
Have asked at the allotment and no one is really interested in doing a seed swap. So I am quite glad I hadn't started packing up my seeds. Oh no that means there are more seeds for me

Well, I think we have had the Monday from hell.
Before we went on holiday OH ordered a new grate for our log burner as it needed replacing.
Went to pick it up this morning and its the wrong size.
I went to the park in the car and when I was finished my walk and got back in the car it wouldnt start.
Rang breakdown assistance and an hour and a half later he arrived and said it was a fault with the key fob.
He took it apart, did something with it, put a new battery in, and the car was back in action.
Drove home and OH had lost the keys to the shed and was in a right state looking for them.
Had lunch and OH went to the bank in the car, and yes, youve guessed, the phone rang and he said.............and the car had died again.
Son in law who was fortunately off today towed the car to the local Ford dealer.
Car is now in the garage.
Oh just turned the table lamp on and the bulb blew, and when he switched the light on in the kitchen the spring went in the switch and we now have a flickering kitchen light.
Roll on Tuesday.

Morning Flo'n'anyone from a cold but dry Nestland, the sun is trying to put it's hat on so best make a start on my jobs to do list. Have a good one.

Morning from me n all. Cars frosted up but snow dinging down just before I went out to do the scraping chore .

Her ladyship's car goinginfor it's MOT and a service this morning so it will be a drop off job there and then I'll be the unpaid taxi to her work and the reverse job later on hopefully.

painted the backof my new fence and gate yesterday. May post a pic of that later, if I remember. it looks really good compared to what was there before..

Snow stops outside play though so it will be back to inside decorating. Not a huge lot to do but of course the problem is that if you paint a skirting board, you then have to do the door surrounds and then you have to do the doors and then the wallls will look as though they need freshening up. Tires me out just thinking about it.

Keeps me out of mischief though

Morning all. Cool and a bit damp here. Kids have got a major drama on. The telly has stopped working properly, the sound bar has stopped working again. So will have to wait until OH gets back from work to sort it out. Of course its the end of the world for them but nice and peaceful for me
Hope to get to allotment and start digging today. Lots of people down there have already started.
