  • Had a great day - the course was good fun and lunch so so, but the company was priceless.
We laughed so much I ached
Then I came home and fell asleep - no surprise there
    Have a lovely evening peeps

    • Well today.after a hectic week of decorating etc, my get up and go got up and went. Come five o clock I was absolutely knackered. Tidied up, changed into a pair of joggie bottoms and sat down with a cuppa and put my feet up. Was pizza for tea so nowt to do for that and I've had a lazy evening as well. Rary may have a point. DIY can be bad for a body

You were lucky Nicos, that could have cost you a hatchback door, on top of the cost of the struts

Well done AP, I never thought of spilling paint so that the can would be empty when you finished, what a great idea, and if OH knows that you spilled it she will think twice about asking you to paint in the future, pure genius, I take my hat off to you

              • Morning Everybody

A tad milder this morning with no frost, of to Southampton today to catch up with a few friends. Serious clean of the greenhouses planned for the weekend so will find a shop to purchase a few supplies for this task. Once washed and scrubbed I have a few sulphur candles left to burn. Glad I purchased a box of 12 before they disappeared from the market.

For those that countdown the weekdays at work I hope today flies by and that you enjoy the weekend

Finishing off wood pile sorting today 2 1/2 done 2 1/2 to go. Then I'm sowing more seeds . I bid on 30 packets, on fleabay because I was bored. They turned up yesterday and there is a very good selection. There will be some for VSP ( but not many ).
Hope you all have a good day.

                  • Morning Y'all'n'all from a cold, dull, dry Nestland. The sun hasn't got it's hat on today so I better find mine as I have a greenhouse door that needs putting in it's place. Have a good Friday all you workers, everyone else just have a good day.

                        • Morning all,

It´s an ok day today a little windy, the GH arrived yesterday but its going to be very windy at the weekend so better leave it till next week i think.

SP, i am always getting suckered in by flebay, on multipacks of seeds, last year i won a selection of 500, why did i even bid on it i do not know, quite a few went off to friends and VSP. It is fun when they arrive and your not sure what is in there like a lucky dip.

BB maybe you have 2 cars

                          Have a good day

                          • Morning all. I love fleabay for books. I got my new River Cottage Veg book has arrived this morning. Some very nice recipes in it.
Couldn't do allotment yesterday as it was way to wet and boggy still. So plan of digging is on hold until Monday.
Might get some seeds planted in a bit.
                            Have a good day everyone

                            • Good morning all. Dont think I am going to get anything done in the garden today. Poorly grandaughter here again today and its other grandaughters 13th birthday. As she has a half day from school we will be having a trip into town for her birthday gift.

You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                              • My daughter, Amy, had a lovely surprise today. She opened up her colouring competition package to find a beautiful Kid's First Gardening Book which we are both enjoying looking through and a lovely book token

She is really thrilled, thank you mods. It's come at a great time just as the weather is warming and we can get out more in the garden Great surprise for the weekend.

Had an eye test today and needed new glasses so that made my purse lighter. They warned I might need some varifocals in the next few years so I guess I better start saving

Busy weekend seeing family so no gardening until Monday I guess.

                                Have a great Friday everyone.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
