Had a gurgle and from reviews discovered that you just chuck a pod into the drum (two if it's a mucky wash) and then set the program and that's it. Anyone else use them? Am I just thick or is there a lack of instruction for use? Be careful how you answer
Did you read the bit about cutting a pod in half for a small or lightly soiled wash?

Morning All. Sunshiny and nippy again today but I'm not complaining. Its much better than wet and nippy!
Time to do something physical to warm up..............Making coffee should do it
    Cuppa anyone?

Looking at their website that's exactly the instructions. I was using another brand of liquid pods til recently but stopped as found the pod casing didn't always dissolve and left a slimy mess on clothes. Also as they are made from seaweed they can make the drum smell a bit like .... Seaweed!

Bright and cold here, off over the plot in a few minutes to continue digging over the recovered bank, slow going but hopefully the results will be worth it.

Rumour has it we have belly pork for dinner today with lashings of apple sauce so will definitely be working up an appetite

                Flippin frizzin here.
OH has braved the cold to cut the meadow of a lawn with a borrowed sit on mower which can cope with long, lush grass.
It's been dry and sunny ( with a chill wind) for the past 3 days so it's dried out a bit.

And yup- he's been talking about getting a couple of sheep!

                • Having a tea break after a walk to the bins to sadly dispose of anonymous the chicken thats 2 i have lost in 8 months, and i do not know why, most likely the common things like cancer or heart problems but they seem fine one day and rapidly go down hill 3 and 1/2 does not seem that old.
Oh the up side of chicken land the news ones are now nicely settled in and the pecking order has seemed to have stopped, i changed their treat area so the oldies didn't claim it all and they all share nicely now.

                    • Thanks for the feedback re the Daz whatsit pods. For what it's worth, I ended up with a slimy mess at the bottom of the glass dome in the door but the towels were ok. I had no problem beforehand withpowder sticking in the tray, just have it a wipe out before using.

Anyway, finished paintwork in hall so a big yippee for that.

Good work on the painting, Ap. Much more to do?
I've been busy with the paint brush too - another two peach flowers to pollinate

Cold and frosty this morning, aching from my exploits yesterday. Promise to take the OH out to lunch today so doubt I will get to the allotment.

Got moaned at last night because I put a bag of compost in my study to start warming up.......some people just don't understand

Hope you all intend to make use of the extra day this year
