March has started off on a real wet one! Doesn't look like I shall be doing owt in the garden today.

OH complained this morning that the cheap solar light I bought from the £1 store was apparently changing colours like some disco light in the window overnight and it kept him awake. I forgot I left it charging in my bedroom window and I didn't even know it was multi coloured. Wasn't even sure if it would work to be honest.

Daughter has optician's appointment today. Let's hope she doesn't need glasses as well or our supposed "holiday" fund will be drained down to zilch.

Can't believe it is March already. Yikes. Hope the weather is better for everyone else than it is here.

Tis grey but calm here Marie...rain is arriving later apparently.
Hopefully I can pot up a few self seeded plants from the garden before it does.
Good news is that OH managed to finish mowing the field/ garden with the hand mower yesterday...tipped up at 30 degrees , mowing about 20cm at a time...took him 3 hrs!
I did offer but although he moaned a bit, I secretly think he enjoyed the 'time out' to switch off mentally and just enjoy being if you know what I mean?

Morning its wet and windy but I'm hoping its not going to last all day I want to get the last of my leeks out to make a St Davids day flan.

Morning all. Typical for me. Had to do running about for various people yesterday so couldn't get to the allotment. Then today when I could of got down and done some digging its pouring with rain. The weather man has just said we could have snow Friday and Saturday I don't do snow
So I think today is going to be a seed sowing and sorting day to cheer myself up a bit.
Sorry to hear about your moms funeral Wendy. Thoughts are with you.
