  • Morning all, what a difference a day makes
Raining here, glad we got all we wanted to get done in the garden yesterday.
Got nothing planned for today, so might just stay in and wrap up warm. It really looks dismal out there.
    Have a great day all

Hahaha! The closest I get to making Welsh cakes is having my Nana's cast iron bakestone in the garage. My Mum used to make Welsh cakes on it too. It weighs a ton

                          • Father in Law has taken a tumble today. He and MIL had been to town, came back to do some more shopping at a local shopping centre, split up to get various things and when MIL went to look for him to go home, found him on a stretcher with ambulance in attendance! He's in A&E waiting for a bed, they've glued the cut on his head and are keeping him overnight for observation. He's quite chatty apparently and feels ok. He's 89!

                              • good evening Folks, its been a cold wet day here today, but did manage to get three bags of seaweed this morning, and intended putting it on the garden, but had some visitors and when they left I was told we were going to Breahead Shopping centre, there is nothing of interest there for me, though I did let her buy me lunch (I know I am quite generous) Oh I did get our evening meal from M&S various yellow sticker veg. cost for a stirfry for the two of us £1. 30p the high price came from buying okra as I had never tried this before, and no, wont be in a rush to buy it again. Yesterday I got six packets of seeds for £3. 00, a packet of tomato seeds two types of rocket, and packet sorrel, which can be grown as a dot plant in the garden, a packet of mixed peppers and leeks, I will need to start growing in tubs to make room for growing all the seeds that I have this year. Well I wish You all a good night, and that challenge of keeping the cost of the seeds under £20.00, well the less said about that the better. Goodnight
