Good afternoon/evening? whatever,it has been one lovely day here today, took the dog for a long walk then into the greenhouse for a time, which turned out a very short time as the dog decided to play the great escape, again, I got her over in the field behind the garden I took her an other wee walk so that I could pick up a fallen tree branch. when we came back I put her onto a long rope to see where she went to get out, hopefully it is now blocked, I then decided to shred the pile of branches that I have, was doing well till it cut out on me and would not start again, it is now wraped up ready to go back fo repair, the old alko that I have had for 21years shredded some of the lighter stuff but cannot cope with thicker branches, so I have a large pile of pile of material at the side of the house to be shredded, and now have had a phone call to say we are having visitors tomorrow (and their house and garden is always tidy). Well may be on later Im off to explain that we have a home not a house. Goodeveningit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Had a great day today.
2 lots of washing line dried, all indoors now
Made beany mince with sliced spuds on for my Daughter and grandkids tea. Hubby was on school run duty today.
Had a lovely message from her that I'd 'made her day' that their tea was all done for them
Had a busy afternoon sorting other people's carp at the shop.
Came home and cooked a lovely lamb dinner, that didn't involve one bit of salad in it. Oh joy
Nothing to do with gardening, sorryNannys make memories

Evening All. I have roses in my cheeks. Yes really - the sun has been very warm and I've been outside all day. Work tomorrow. FIL seems finally to be on the mend, it has been touch and go since he fell last week. Just waiting for the result of the 72-hr cardiac monitor to find out if we can start physio and occupational therapy to get him on the road to home. Fingers crossed.Granny on the Game in Sheffield

I am having a few probs at the moment - due to lack of sleep (caused by a hyperactive OH................and no not doing THAT) I just cannot be harsed with all the seeds I need to start.
It will pass.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Gorgeous day up here today. Decided to start painting my shed. It's 10ft x 8ft. Used my electric sander to take off the flaking paint but discovered a fair bit of rotten wood . Well I'd already replaced rotten wood on the shed door and I had enough left over from some new stuff I got off freegle yippee but goodness between doing the joinery bit and the painting took most of the day and I've only done half. Just had a large glass of red to help me recover.

Evening all...
No gardening for me today unfortunately..Work and then a flight, am now in London where I shall be working for next 2 days...Then a day off for St Patrick's day..
Kids finished school on Wednesday for over 2 weeks, so some entertaining required there methinksI dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly

Reading this forum is seriously injurious to one's wallet whilst nursing my ( pretend) ma flu I have been reading and posting quite happily. Read the post about Vietnamese coriander so decided to google it well one thing led to another and another an before I knew it I have just spent a shed load on seeds, and no I didn't even end up buying the Vietnamese coriander so better start looking againDogs have masters, cats have slaves, and horses are just wonderful
