      • Have had a great day out to Galway with my family today.
We are now on the train on our way home.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

        • Evening all. Have had a busy day cleaning out the small freezer. Took for ever. Then have been pottering about tidying up in the garden. Was going to do it yesterday but was down with a migraine
Has been nice and sunny here. Just hope it carries on.
          Have a good evening everyone

          • Well gas engineer came and good news is it was just the fan. All sorted and now we are nice and toastie! We had decided we may as well get a new boiler as this one isn't efficient. Engineer calls his office to arrange for someone to come see us, but they can't come when we are available. He told us they go on and on at them to try to sell new boilers, we ask without him saying anything and can get nowhere! Oh well cash can stay in the bank.

Hope you all had a lovely day.

                • Better clock in before it becomes tomorrow.

Woke very very early. Got up to hear someone in th street calling on a cat or a dog. Flip sake, it was only five o clock.

Anyway, today made one decent bit of trellis out of two broken bits. Painted it to match the shed and fixed it in place. Looks great except the holes in the trellis are too big apparently. :confused :.

Then mixed some cement and set some bricks in place along the edge of where I recently dug up and repaired a collapsed drain pipe. Thought it looked great but apparently I could have used more suitable bricks. For flip sake, they are new bricks <growllllll>

Been that kind of a day.

Anyway, went to visit my elderly aunt in the afternoon. Fell asleep but bless her, she said I must have needed the rest.

                    • Morning all. Tea or coffee anyone?
Well was pulled away from the Vine last night before I had really sat down to start. Will woke up crying, managed to settle him back down but then he started being sick. He ended up in our bed in the end at about 3am and finally settled down fast asleep. Seems fine this morning. Think his cold had gone into his tummy a bit.
Have no idea what I'm doing today. Think I might hack the front hedge with my dads hedge trimmer. Bit of stress relief
                      Have a good day everyone
