Managed a little time in garden this morning and have almost removed all the grass from a slope. now awaiting arrival of some plants.

It was cold and foggy with us today, so after nursery DD and I escaped to the hills for some sun and sledging Tshirt and shades weather at the top.

Wendy - hope your cats tail recovers. Our dog had a wonky tail, possibly caused by overwagging, she looked so unbalanced, and I imagine a cat even more so.

Lovely frosty dawn out there...although it's still fairly dark I can hear loads of birds singing and see them flying to and from the fat balls and peanuts we topped up yesterday.
Looks to me like they are enjoying getting stuck into their breakfasts!

Sooo nearly weekend and the brill thing is that the weather looks likely to hold for a few more days!

Hopefully many of us can get on top of our gardening this weekend.( having said that my OH will most probably stuck to the sofa most of Saturday watching the end of the rugby.)

Morning all, glorious morning here in sunny swansea
We had a rouch of frost last night but G/H only down to 4c so all looking good in there. Little trip to the docs in an hour for BP measurement then out the garden for the day sieving last years compost and sowing hopefully, have a good day all.

Morning all,That bladdy @@@@ fairy has visited again,yesterday was at the hospital with MR LD,he had a stroke,a bleed on the brain type,what a shock out the blue for us all,i have got support,so will not be on here very much,

Bonus Friday off today - no work YAY! Grey and a bit misty but that's OK. Domestic stuff and shopping first. Then down the plot for a couple of hours. Then No 2 son is coming over for supper tonight. All good stuff. Have a lovely day all and for those of you who work all week..... it's almost the weekend!
