  • Our spare bedroom has been used as a junk space for a number of years so trying to separate the wheat from the chaff so to speak. Bleeding tedious but needs must.
    But you will find all kinds of 'treasures' AP

    Full of good intentions yesterday but ended up doing housework, reading a novel and watching rugby! Never mind, I have to go to the plot today as (a) my rent is due and (b) it is the AGM of our Self Managed Association. Exciting times So, I really will get some work done today. It is grey but not quite so chilly as yesterday. Onward and upward folks - enjoy your Spring Solstice.

        Nice bright morning here too...First up is bring my eldest to her soccer match...Then I promised two young ones that I'd bring them for a walk in the the woods and bog down the road from us...
        It's all go
        I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

        • Morning all,thank you each for your messages,good wishes,hugs and prayers,ext,things are going in the right direction so far,a little movement and speech,he has a few tears when he sees a new body come to visit,staff say it will be a long job,and a transfer to a specialist stroke recovery unit,in another few days,my family are all pulling in the right direction at last,thank the lord,i am very humbled to find out what an impact it has had on friends as well as family,peeps all say the same,what a lovely friendly chap,will do anything for others,but he is MY caveman bless him,will be of to visit in a while,thanks again friends,means a lot

                      • Thanks for all the good wishes, and Hazel no there have been no hints, and inside a womans head is not the place I want to be, I have told her that if she sees any thing she would like I will buy it for her (with my luck it will be something costing more than ten pounds) I am going off to find out what commisserations are and see if I can buy them for OH, if they cost less than a tenner
                        it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                        • What nice people you are on here,he is improving a little every time we see him,we know when tis time to either go home,or just have a walk about looking for the snack machine ext,as he sags and needs his own space,tomorrow he will see the GGson again so that will do him good,no doubt some more tears bless him,it has mostly been me that holds the family together,so it feel strange and humbling for the way family and friends are,i was ordered out my own kitchen whilst they done dinner ,4 having sleep overs tonight ,thanks again all.xxxx
