  • I thought you'd been painting in the garden and on a container Marie and then I realised it was planting. Doh - it's been a long day. PJ time methinks.

            • Morning all. Looks very cloudy outside so far. Dry but cloudy. It was freezing here yesterday because of all the cloud.
Might go down allotment today and lift some slabs to make some paths. Might drag OH down to give me a hand
              Have a good day everyone

Last day in Rhyl hopefully. Another look round cheapy shops this morning. I still have space in my suit case then spend rest of day with grandad. I think take away is on the cards for this evenings meal ( again).

                  • morning all. Persisting down up here. Bit of a blow because I have a job lined up and some help organised for the job as well. Ahh well, there's always another day .

Slept through again last night which was brilliant. Think maybe I've been stressing because of need to get house ready for selling but decorating now completed (huge sigh of relief) so I can relax a bit. Been at that for weeks so thank you for putting up with my updates . Hate to think what we've spent on paint and disposables but the house does look hugely better so it's been a good investment.

Encouragingly, a house just down the street which went on the market last week is already under offer. It's smaller than ours but that can mean plusses or minuses. We get the key of our new house a week today which means we can shift some of the clutter from here and then try to get this place sold.

Can't help thinking about Lottie and her husbands situation. There but for the grace of god.................

I would have immediately suggested a chrome strip, but I think you are saying there isn't an equal height on the gap as it it goes cross AP?

                          • Morning all. Well as usual coming up to a bank holiday weekend the dry spell of weather has broken. We have had rain overnight and its cloudy and windy, a definite change on the cards.
Off to town this morning to pick up a few bits and pieces for the weekend. Have a good day all.

You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                            • Morning all, just popped in for a rant and a coffee before work. Swapped shifts so a colleague can go to parents evening, my how fast they grow.

If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

                              • Morning all'n'all "cough" ok so it's nearly lunch time...........in my defence, I was down at the plot at 5am pen & paper in hand recording my SFG. I then spent an 'our on the PC making a spreadsheet, got it finished & the bladdy thing crashed so lost all the info. So after a few polite words, I was too tired to swear, I started again this time saving at intervals. It was 8.30am before I finished it so I went back to my nest for a few 'ours, hence the late good morning................am I excused?..........
