Morning all and we have a sunny start. Happy Easter to all and whatever youre doing , enjoy and stay safe.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Morning all. Happy Easter everyone. I haven't been online for a few days as I am full of cold and have been all bunged up and grotty since Friday morning.
Going to my mom and dads for dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt, weather permitting.
Have a good day everyone

Lovely sunny start to the day. Very blustery and due for thunderstorms later.
All very exciting!
Just had 2 dippy eggs for breakfast...mmmm.....
The interesting thing this morning for us was listening to the church bells from both the local villages- the wind direction was perfect and what made it more special was that being Easter Sunday, they hadn't been rung at all since Thursday ( typical French tradition) so they made up for the silence!
Apparently all bells fly to Rome on Maundy Thursday and return today , dropping chocolate bells and eggs for children on the way.
Just thought I'd share that with you"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Morning all and Happy Easter! Dull but dry this morning. Didn't sleep very well as I have been full of the cold too, since Tuesday, it's not very nice. The good thing is I know where I got it and I'm seeing the person who very kindly passed it on to me tonight...he is going to get an earful!sigpic

In from the cold, another day done, back at work in the Morning, but only for a couple of hours, best go bathe n shave in readiness before a few cold ones had, as I'll end up cutting half my face off with a new blade!"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"

We've been out for a walk with Stan. Brightened up after the rain this morning. Not the best of photos,
but the views out towards Bath were quite pretty with both the canal and river in view. Pretty muddy walk. While in the woods some kids were looking for stuff and eating them with Mum and Dad stood nearby. i was really puzzled as to what they were collecting to eat, son reminded me it was Easter eggs Really strange with just one boy at home, never had so many text messages of the other one. he must be missing us.Attached Files

Face still intact!
Can't be bothered cooking! All the kids and grandkids down at eldest Daughters on the slide etc I built a few years back! Having an egg search and all the regular Easter carrying's on!
Did nip in for an hour earlier! But really too busy n noisy for me!
Curry ordered! a couple of "Cold one's" scheduled, my few days off from work almost complete, got most of what I wanted to get done, not as far on the plot as I wanted, but with planting out not good for a few weeks! Not the end of the world!
Just lovely to have a few days away from the "Rat Race""Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"

Back home after a lovely meal at my daughter's. There were bunny paws outside on the drive leading all the way to the dining table, which was decorated with eggs, bunnies, feathers and a goody bag each. Met the middle GG's boyfriend, who will do nicely F to B now, after good grub and Prosecco, so a little rest while my bottle of the same is chilling. Hope you have all had a good Easter DayGranny on the Game in Sheffield
