get keys for new house on Thursday so hope to have here totally finished before then so I can get decorating in the new place. present owners of new house have two Rhodesian ridgeback dogs and two teenage sons. Nuff said

You could have a lot of work infront of you AP. two teenage boys can make quite a mess.
But once you have everything in order I will let you come to my house where you can put all your practising to work, and I will charge resonable rates for the bed and breakfast, as long as you are willing to make it.

Just had a massive hailstone shower bouncing off the windows!

Dry with shine in the Silver City this morning but a tad chilly. Working today so will soon warm up though

Preliminary check of damage....

Roof still leaking where it was repaired
Blow away torn from the wall , through the electric fence and now on it's side in the chicken run...including all the clay pots which were inside.
Fortunately no seedlings inside.

Looks like the storm has finally moved on- no wind and blue skies at the moment!

Hope everyone else hasn't had too much damage?

Morning all. Wet and windy outside, luckily the wind hasn't been too strong. I saw the frogs earlier this morning so they weren't bothered by it and the bird tables are still standing. One storm knocked them clean over so clearly Katie hasn't been as bad

Yesterday was nice. Had a big family meal and overate. Needn't of worried about daughter going mad with the chocolate because it was her almost 50 year old uncle who actually could not stop helping himself to her eggs LOL It's always the grown ups that need to be watched!

Well, how strange is that? None of the pots inside the blowaway were damaged...just the electric fence clasp.
Not hard to fix at all!

It's a much better start to the day here, but it's clouding over now. Much more productive day already today, compared to yesterday. All birdies and beasties cleaned out already.

Morning all. Lovely dry and sunny start to the day here. Weather girl has said we will miss Storm Katie so the weather is looking much better than expected.
Off into the city for the day where there are street theatre, carnival, choirs, story tlling and all kind of other entertainment.
Yesterdays parade was msgical so it has been a great weekrnd so far.

Was meant to go away for 2 night tomorrow but we are not going now so it is a beautiful day and the sun is shinning so lots and lots of jobs to be done
Its the last day of Easter holidays here and it will be nice for things to go back to normal.

Afternoon all. We have had blustery night with plenty of rain, then we've had some snow but because it was so wet it didn't stick, thankfully.
Kids are at my mom and dads so have done some cleaning and tidying up.
