I just need reading glasses and I really ought to take them shopping with me instead of asking folks what the labels say.
Hope you feel better soon Flo xx
Evening all. Has been a busy day tending the poorly again. Will is down with this cold bug. Han is shaking hers off and I still have mine. Both of them slept 12+ hours last night. So today we have been making stuff with Hamma beads, Very small and very fiddly.
Hope to get them in the garden tomorrow.
Have a good evening everyone
Ha ha. I'm lying with DD helping her get to sleep and I hear what sounds like an ice cream van. 5 minutes later I hear it again. It's stopped just opposite our house. We live in a tiny rural place not our usual Wednesday night occurrence. DD was full of hope I had got one. She is already planning a midnight walk with feast for her, me and dog (daddy has to stay home). it's going to be one of those nights, lol.
Glad you are on the mend Flo, Vertigo is not pleasant. Re: Varifocals, I found the secret was not to look through the top or the bottom but to look straight ahead & lift or lower your head.

rary, what kind of compost was it? I bought the Richmoor 40l bag...not very good.
I bought the 70Lt. bags Jay and the compost looks ok. I have used some for tatties in a bucket and some for final potting of tomatoes the rest of it will be used for my hanging baskets
It's lovely, light &spacious but the only furniture up there is the bed now how to furnish a narrow room with very sloping ceilings. I'm not waiting another 17years or so.
Scarlet you have all you need for a BEDroom, you will have plenty of room on the floor for your clothes, and just keep your glasses off when you are in there (my wife takes hers off in the bedroom, they get too steamed up)
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
Member of the Nutters Club but I think I am just there to make up the numbers
Right - the only thing I can add to the attic room debate is that the floor space in a slopey-ceiling room is bigger than the useable space - so be prepared for a heart attack when carpet costs come in.
I've nothing more to add on other issues of the day, so I'll put the house and all those in it to bed.
It seems that Domino cat subscribes to the 'fresh air works up an appetite' theory, and having spent the afternoon on the bench is now after extra rations; and I'm not one to argue with such a venerable gentleman.
Morning all, grey and cold here this morning. There is a threat of sunshine later, so the washing machine is on.
How do two people create so much laundry? To be fair, it's not hubby's fault, he'd wear clothes for a week if I let him
Had a mosey around BQ yesterday, they had F1 tomato plants at €5 plus, don't know what the £ price was. Think of all the money were saving peeps.
I was actually looking for a nice plant to put in a wooden planter that I had at Christmas. It will be set next to the back door and will get full sun, any ideas?
Off to the charity shop his morning for some fun, have a lovely sunny day folks
Good morning!
The sun is out here - still cold though!
Just off out for morning walkies ( bit late this morning.. he's glowering at me now - probably thinking "wish she'd put that ruddy iPad down and take me out ..!!!)
Just took a peek out the back at yesterday's handiwork - it's coming on nicely - soon be planting things out - hopefully! Just need to do a bit more digging!
