    • My uncle sadly passed away at 4am this morning. I knew it would not be long after he went into a hospice but it still doesn't prepare you even when you are mentally psyched up for the worst to happen. I've kept myself busy all day and have been on the phone a lot with family. I'm just glad he doesn't have to suffer any more and is finally free from any pain and discomfort. So just a quiet day of reflection today and remembering a lovely man who died too soon thanks to bl**dy cancer yet again
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

                • Thank you I do have lots of very good memories and that's the thing to focus on and the fact that he's not suffering anymore.

                          I'm a pensioner now that knows .

Garden is big for the property type is how the surveyor described it. Going to take a bit of knocking into shape but it has the potential to be super super dooper

                          • Nowt wrong with being a pensioner - think of all the discounts you can get (so they tell me)
You'll soon have the garden licked into shape (what does that mean?)

                              • Evening all,
                                Condolences Marie
Left some tomatoes in the greenhouse over night last night for the first time and checked this evening, and all look dandy..
It's not as if I can't afford to lose a few though, the count is at over 100 at the mo
I will be giving away a good few though...I hope
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                                ...utterly nutterly
