As I'm all clean & luverlee I think after the 'domestics' I'll nip a couple of juctions down the motorway & visit a poorly mate, take some eggs & do him a nice fried butty

Morning all! Arrived home from Sorrento last night .. late. It was 22 degrees C when I left at 3.00 yesterday afternoon, something of a contrast here this morning. Having said that, it is nice to be home. Have a good day, despite the weather.

You know I worried about my tomato plants etc in the greenhouse, that they might dry out. Seems like you have had a grey and cool week.

Having a break before I make the cake, pans are lined and greased ready, ingredients out and homemade butter defrosting . Just organising the tomato run before son goes shopping with his GF (why wouldn't he ever go shopping with me?) wondering whether the mice ate my peas again last night. This may be war

Morning all, sun is in and out this morning like a peep of gas...it's still chilly though. A bit of tidying up this morning then taking Harry boy to the groomer this afternoon...he loves it really, honest!

Morning all. Well the bad luck fairy is with me now. I've told it to s*d off or I'll set the kids on it.
Firstly my nephew has had his moped pinched from off his drive. It got pinched from when my sister went to work 6.10am and he went to go to work 8.15am. They think the house was being watched and the have either started it up with a screw driver or put it on the back of a lorry. They live on a busy road and it was bin day so there was plenty of noise first thing in the morning.
Sad phone call then. My god mother has passed away during the night. She has been very ill for sometime so we knew she could go any time but bit of a downer knowing she has gone now.
Oh and its raining here. Spuds need to go in and my peas that have never, ever grown and now going mad.
So I hope everyone is having a good Thursday.

Another changeable "whether" day - that's whether to work in the garden or whether to stay indoors and pretend to be busy

So sorry to read that your godmother passed away NVG. Even if people have a long term illness, it still doesn't fully prepare you when the time comes. My thoughts are with you. And that is rotten luck for your nephew as well. What is wrong with people that they have to steal? They need to get some self respect.
