Minor Rant thread 2016

Have had such a busy week and i made the mistake of laying on the sofa watching tv, fell asleep, OH shoved me and i some how dragged myself to bed, i accidentally left out the tray with all the peppers and chilli´s growing outside and the wind was awful last night. I have had a good luck this morning but they do not look good, thats 9 weeks wasted of loving and caring for them, have to find time to do more somehow!!!

Both handles snapped off on my big plastic trug. That will be a job for tomorrow then.......

Finally getting Hubby to sit down and go through last month's diary and receipt book, so I can get up to date. No sooner than he opens the diary, and ruddy local bloke turns up banging on the door, asking ruddy questions again, about his ruddy motor. Aaaaaaarrrrrggghhhh!

Even more annoying, when Hubby has already told him four or five times over the last two months, what he thinks is wrong with it, and what to check on the ruddy motor, and he hasn't listened!

I may go out there and be rude in a mo...

Was out for an hour last night. When I arrived back OH informed me that he had just banged the door shut as he was seeing our son out.
Phoned our daughter who arrived with spare set of keys.
They dont work because we got new locks in the last three months.
Got to go to daughters house and wait for grandson to come home from the late shift at work with up-to-date set of keys.
Got back in eventually to a kitchen in a mess with dinner dishes still unwashed and the wood burner almost out.

One of the major mobile companies, whose website is virtually inoperable on one of the most commonly used browsers. I remembered (eventually) to switch browsers, only to discove that it doesn't ruddy work on that one either. Get your ruddy selves sorted out, you idiots!

Another beautiful day in Yorkshire, one of my two days off and its not stopped blooming raining. Not light rain either full pelt. My other day offs tomorrow so I'm not holding my breathe on getting anything done in the garden or at the allotment at this rate nothing will be going in the ground....

Blind drivers.

Round here it always used to be Trilby-wearers driving red Metr0s, but they've been replaced by Blue-rinsers in gold M!cras, so I always take extra care when being approached by one. Yesterday, one was coming toward me on a single track lane. There were no passing places nearby, without one of us reversing quite a long way. I braked, and was about to go into reverse, but Poppet wasn't stopping for anyone, so I had to bung it up the bank and let her go by!

She was grinning and squinting like a female Mr. Magoo.

Hope she made it to wherever she was going...

Having to take days off work due to a horrendous cold sore which I wont let anyone see me with, its rained so cant work in the garden even though I am bursting with ideas so had to sit in the house watching tv or doing house work feeling guilty that I have phoned in sick.

Oh with glass still stuck in my foot off 4 days ago, this week is not going swimmingly at all!

Confession time - I have called in sick because the manager was a ...........(use appropriate word) and he had annoyed me more than usual


My rant - my ability to find A-hole managers and ending up working for them. Only a few more years before finding the next one

It is limp, I love my job and being at work (sounds sad dont it) but with a customer facing role I just couldnt bare people staring at it while I try to help them. If they shoved me in the warehouse for a few days I would've of went in. I went in last time I had one which was last feb as it wasnt that big but this one is the size of 50p it just looks so dirty!
