Just back from plot, hot, dirty, and very thirsty,found nice cool can of Orangina in fridge, left over from grandsons visit, poor into glass, knocked glass over, broke glass, Orangina everywhere!!

Should have stuck to water!

Why is it that when you order and pay for something, told a date and time it'll be delivered, I'm always disappointed when it doesn't turn up .....????

Ordered 10 x scaffolding boards on Friday 6th May paid for and also £35 delivery charge.
We will be texted the Friday evening before delivery on Saturday 14th to confirm time ...
No text
10 o'clock today, sitting drumming fingertips, I ring them - the phone rings and is then cut off ...
I ring straight back. No one at the branch we ordered them from knows anything ...
They'll ring me back ...

They DO ring back 10 minutes later - delivery will be between 2-6 ..
Think we were forgotten ...
Now have to rearrange all plans for this afternoon. If they arrive at 6pm no way is DH going to start making my beds at that time of day .....

Cold, wet and ten degrees colder than normal.
I, the tomatoes, peppers etc and the new bike all hate it.
