Talk about Karma not working. Saved a mouse the other day off the potting table and let it go down the bottom of the garden and ever since then Karma has bitten me in the bum.
I was down the allotment and I caught my eye on a piece of a sharp plant, very pointy and very sharp, so ended up with a cracking blood shot eye, have had to dig up the last of my earlies as half of them have been eaten by mice, my key fob for the car isn't working properly, Will has two wobbly front teeth that he stands in front of me wobbling, computer has had a wobbly, part of our decking has gone again at the back and we are still trying to get it sorted with the landlord, I cut my arm open on some bits of a hedge that the OH assured me was just some hedge cutting oh and to top it all off I have got another mouse on my potting table. Have told it to move it or else I set the kids on it.
What a week so far just hope it get bettersigpic

saw the best of people yesterday....closely followed by the worst of people.
We went to the Herne bay airshow. A small plane crashed into the sea and without hestation, a whole load of spectators rushed into the water, hauled the pilot from the (upside down) plane and dragged him AND his plane safely to the beach.
WOW!
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...h-into-sea-to/
Less than twenty minutes later we saw a big bloke aged about thirty threaten to beat up an elderly gentleman who had asked him to stop his brattish children climbing over his lovingly restored spitfire.
Wherever there are people there are scum

When you ask someone to do something for you in the garden. They do it with rather bad grace then make so much mess that it I might as well have done it myself in the first place. Do they do it so I won't ask again?Gardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. Lou Erickson, critic and poet

lack of communication, things being harder than they should be and the fact this just seems to be the norm. nowadays.
Few weeks ago got a letter asking me to ring to make hosp. appointment. Rang left a message, got called back, told them wanted to make an appointment got told it didn't work like that (despite the fact it did a few months when I had the same thing for my oldest) but she would enquire and call me back. Got called back got an appointment sorted in the end regardless. Then on the confirming letter I got it said the appointment was cancelled but it is ok they have a slot 2hrs earlier.
Next, home visit appointment date for youngest came in post a week ago. Yesterday another letter same department, different person to see on same day but a 30 mins drive away. I would only have had 15mins to sort 2 toddlers and the 30mins drive between the two appointments. Rang to explain and I don't think the women was listening, instead she tried to change the appointment so I would have to go back in time to make the other appointment as there was a chance I might have to wait 30mins. Lots more guff but 3.5hrs later, 3 phone calls and 4 people later sorted
Today, letter from council saying I haven't paid my renewal for my brown bin from June and have 7 days to pay. Check bank account, money gone 7th June. Ring up and explained and the response was 'yeah sorry, some letters went out in error' (or words to that effect he really wasn't fussed). I wonder if they will be refunding those that double pay?
I know it is all very trivial but I am sure I can't be the only one that is bugged by things like this.

To make you feel better NG....son has a deviated septum (another rugby injury) requiring surgery. It has caused a perforated ear drum and he gets loads of ear problems. They advised to leave the operation until his late teen years (now).
Over the last 8months he has had numerous ear infections, blocked ears, needed syringing etc. every time I call the Docs, sorry no appointment available - see a nurse. When there I asked him to be referred back to the specialist...Hmm, yes ok. Ive heard nothing. Now 3 weeks ago I called again. Look, he's got an infection again, we need to see a specialist. See a nurse. Ok, saw the nurse, mentioned again that we want to see a specialist ...you need to see the doctor. Rang reception and said can I see the Doctor, waited 2 weeks for appointment but I had to take other son elswhere. Got home and son said "doc said to go back in a month, ive still got an infection"
