Went to get the bathroom scales for the pumpkin competition. Why oh why did I have to stand on the damm things to check they were working.

One stone overweight (16.5 stone!) from one month ago. Wondered what this growth was on my tummy!

I know this shouldn't be a rant but Ive been listening to the same piece being practiced on the piano now for pretty much the best part of 3 HOURS I really need a break....

Miserable Mods.........thats my rant! ...................No it isn't, my rant is the central heating boiler waiting until its the coldest day in the year before it self destructs.
I was brought up in a house which had no central heating and only a single coal fire in the living room. On cold nights we used to cover ourselves with my Dad's auld trench coat in bed to keep warm. I would have been glad of his trench coat last night as I was bladdy freezing in bed! Either central heating or auld age or both has made me soft!

Dear Garmin gps running watch. It is a clear night, in the open, on top of a hill. Frankly, if I had looked up I could have seen as far as Mars - so why did it take you until 20 minutes into the run to find a satellite signal and start tracking?

Dreading the 3rd thing to happen. I really don't need any more emergencies and dramas to deal with especially so early on in the day.
