Made sushi style rice balls for eldest and OH for lunch tomorrow. Hands now stink of smoked mackerel despite lashings of lavender hand cream, & it took so long I'll have to do mine & youngest lunches, pack swim kit for eldest, iron school tops etc in the morning.
They'd better b****y like them!!!!Another happy Nutter...

I'm watching "Strictly come dancing" and was happy to see Simple Minds come on. The opening chords... great "Don't you (forget about me)" A real blast from the past. And then..... what a letdown. Either the years have really taken their toll on my memory of the song or on the singer.Comment

The cold has got to my (indoor!) cucumber plant and it's now dying.
And there was me thinking I could control the effects of the weather by simply having a heater on in the hall. Clearly far too simplistic for my own good sometimes.
