Junk mail - even though we are on the post preference thingy we still get loads and now to add insult to annoyance we have had, up till this morning 63 letters and addressed flyers from the people standing for MP election. Quite a few are repeat offenders.

Maybe the money they spend on this would be better spent on home care funding etc.

It does not encourage me to vote after such invasive marketing.

my rant is the same as lumy's,what you could do is,either bag em um up and take em along to the poling station,say excuse me,but you left ALL these in MY door,or send the respective people a none stamped letters,with them inside,if you know where some of em live,go post em in their letter box hehehe

I'm a trained cook/chef (admittedly '60, 70's). Things that come up on cookery programmes like "ganache" and "jus". The first is a glossy icing the second is basically a gravy but can be a juice to make the dish being served look pretty. Usually in a tiny heap and not enough food to feed a sparrow but because it looks "nice" they charge a fortune.

BT support system, and telling you that charges apply as their equipment has broken and your subscription as expired, and you need to pay from the delivery of a replacement hub, when how can it be when I'm still paying the bill every month !!!

So that's why the bill has been getting larger each month because I have too say yes to extend a year on this part of the package, 18 months on another package etc etc. Just keep the cost down and I'm subscribed until I tell you I'm leaving you blood sucking bum wipes.

Garden was looking lovely after a weekend of clearing leaves. OH took the lawn mower at the highest level over it to hoover up the small ones still left. Just opened the back blinds and can't see a piece of green lawn...covered in leaves again. Didn't think there had been any wind last night but clearly there had been. Aargh!

Aaargh, aaaargh and aaargh. You probably get the point. I have been on my feet all day. I'm tired. I want to sit on my a*se and watch telly. Gone through all the channels. It's Saturday night and I really can't believe that with all the channels I have that the choice so awful. Definitely the lowest common denominator. Gone to Netflix and "Breaking Bad" which I've been working my way through for the las few weeks.
