Winds so very very strong. Electric keeps tripping. Ferries are all canceled for the weekend so my parents are flying back instead. The garden looks awful, plants are snapped in half and everything looks like it has been dragged through hell.I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

the sad, lonely figure of Lumpy stood crying in the Gardeners Rest car park when she saw that it was closed....
she didn't notice that her high heeled wellies were sinking into the mud or that she still had 2 rollers forever entangled in her hair...
She did know that by knocking a tin of paint all over the kitchen floor last night she had not made the closing party and was sad that she could not say Thank You to all the party goers for making her laugh and smile over a particularly difficult December.I have not failed. sorry but it's not all about you, I have 7 other lecturers to sort out as well, no I don't have 5 mins to sharpen some pencils and peel some labels off jars, which incidently don't have any effect on whats in the jars or what I do with them...... grrrrrrrComment
