When I order 2 items, I expect to receive 2 items not 1 in a ripped & re-sealed bag.............Thankfully, the company are sending me a replacement order.

Thanks for the hugs Scarlet. And no they did not tell any thing,so phone them up and nurse said its all the paper they gave me ..what paper only got my discharge ones... so looked it up and it can take up to 2 weeks to get vision back.

That's rubbish! Hopefully it will improve daily. Get some music on and audio books are fantastic, my son who won't read listens to them....

Just put a hole in the greenhouse I'm trying to put together by myself. The screwdriver slipped. None of the holes line up properly on the trim. It's obvious they measured the trim holes by the frame holes only they forgot when the cladding was added, it made the holes push over by a few mm each time.

They also have stupid long bolts in the instructions where the shorter bolts would have done a neater job. The long bolts just stick out from the nut and do nothing.


Grr! Grr! And Grr some more!

Stupid, careless, accident-prone husbands. Looks like I'll be doing ALL the work at the allotment for a few weeks.
If I didn't love him so much I would strangle him. Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh!

The grass in the overgrown plot next to mine is setting seed. It won't be long before the wind is blowing it all over my plot.

I'll never understand why people would pay their annual fee and then leave the plot untouched, it makes it much harder for the committee to boot them off.

I'll echo Martin's rant, the one behind me has a crop of dandelions. I go over it periodically with a pair of shears or my strimmer so they can keep their own weed seeds. Have you reported it as being unworked?

Can I have another rant? Do reversing lights no longer mean a car is travelling backwards? (And they are working!) Why walk behind a reversing car, or as a driver try to squeeze your car behind the reversing car and the space it is being reversed in to? Wait half a minute and the problem will be resolved.

Persuaded dog he had to go out in lashing rain, we got very wet in about 5 minutes! Now he is insisting on sitting on my lap! Uck I'm going to be 'wet' all day!

I get one day a fortnight when my eldest daughter spends the whole day away from me.

I love and cherish her...but 13 days straight with an adult who has learning difficulties can be....difficult.
So last night I gleefully packed my lottie bag...packed lunch, kelly kettle, coffee sugar and milk in special little containers...a list of jobs, milk cartons and cheap lager for slug traps...various gloves...some peardrops (for energy you understand) and a wind up radio. Oh I thought of everything!

Woke up this morning to a force eight gale...wheelie bins and tree branches blowing along the street and spiteful, sideways rain.

Unpacking my bag was not nearly so much fun and eating my packed lunch in the front room is just sad .

Perhaps I should build myself a blanket fort?
