Did I tell you my children gave me an Elephant for my birthday. It's a bit random and is intended for my shed eventually. In the meantime it was hung in my lounge. Note the word "was". I've just come in from a meeting to find said elephant on the floor along with my new, all singing, all dancing TV.
Fortunately the telly still works but it has coloured stripes across the top 2 inches of the screen and 2 very narrow lines going down it. Grrrrh.

Nosy neighbour tried telling me I'd left a side shoot on one of my tomatoes.
Then proceed to attempt to snap it off and snapped the plant in half . nearly 4ft tall tomato plant ruined.
I asked him nicley to get the ##@# out of my pollytunnel
When you have a hammer in your hand everything around you starts looking like a nail.
Oldest has been coming out over a year to feed the birds, however in the last two days she has been terrified when she has been approached by the chickens and there doesn't seem to be a reason why. I have two friendly chickens that I don't really want to keep cooped up so I fear I may have to start looking for forever homes but I don't think they will be very desirable
Anyone want a 10 year old pekin that lays 6 weeks a year if you are lucky (yes, she was one of my first ever chickens) and a brown hen that would rather live with ducks than chickens (she was dumped in a field before she found her way here)
Fingers crossed my daughter is going through a phase. (I have run out of sad faces)
My rant - teenage boys that should be using this week to revise for the last of their AS Maths papers on Wednesday. I heard a noise early this morning - 4.30am!! Yep! Still on the bl@@dy thing! Ive truly given up trying
Voles - so far have munched three squash plants, three cucumbers, two aubergines, my leeks for seed saving, one pepper and four climbing bean plants. On the other hand the cat has eaten a lot of voles in the last two weeks as well, just not enough.
Still carless. After two "sick" days off work, I'm now having to use 3 precious holiday days. And why obfuscation? If you haven't looked at it yet, just say so, then I can organise my week, rather than saying "it's taking a while to trace the fault". Rubbish! The man in yellow, who used to be a mechanic for this make of car, clearly pointed the fault out to you.
