        • not in the same league as 87 potato plants certainly...

But Kilners over priced, chichipoopoo jelly bag stand.
Bought for me (probably at a ridiculous price because its kilner and came in a gingham box) by someone who thought how much jam/jelly/juice I make and wanted to buy me a useful gift.

Its fiddly and flimsy and poorly designed.
It is clearly NOT for people who make lots of jam/jelly/juice but people who make a little batch, who have plenty of time to faff about with it.

          Bah!!!

            • I live on a narrow hilly winding country lane with no pavements, it is currently being used by drivers to avoid the town as it is full of tourists. But the drivers bomb along at top speed, this includes vans and lorries and tractors with trailers. Personally I think they should all be forced to walk in the lane with a dog and see how it feels when the vehicle does not slow down or make any attempt to avoid hitting us, it's like we are invisible. There are children and dogs in our lane too.

They don't care so long as they can get from A to B at top speed, that is all that matters

Yup my potato patch. Let's hope the blight hasn't got into the tubers....I had planted enough to store until the other side of Xmas.
