They are moving to Lossiemouth in January and because my OH can no longer drive that far we will not be seeing him or my Grandson for a very long time.

Did I mention I broke the loo seat?

Good night all. Update on bathroom. New ceiling fitted today all the electrics rewired and ready to be connected.
We are left without electricity in our bathroom until tomorrow. Oh, and did I say we are without a door into the bathroom as well. He muttered something with the word "door" in it as he was leaving.
Anyway, the tilers will be arriving in the morning at 7.30 and will work until the job is complete.
All fittings and fixtures to be installed on Saturday.

Kev - Ta for that but as my other half has early onset Alzheimers he would not like the trip - mind you he does not like anything at the moment.

My rant £34 for a new loo seat - mind you it is fascinating as it is a soft close and I an sure I am weeing more than I should just so I can watch the lid close.

Why produce brown paper tattie storage bags if the tatties inside go green because they don't totally block out the light!

I was storing my tatties in cardboard boxes until one of the plot holders gave me what was supposed to be a tattie storage bag.
I've just spent part of the morning rescue-ing tatties from the centre of the bag that hadn't turned green, and put them in a cardboard box!

The schisms within our society that allows drastic cuts to our Local Authorities, that then 'unsurprisingly' has a major impact on our 'social care system' towards all of our family members in the name of austerity - whilst 'surprisingly' the rich mob seem to be getting that bit more wealthier since the austerity measures kicked in. Strange.

3 rants to start the day

1st , we have a leak from one of the bathrooms- through the lounge ceiling.
2nd , about 20 cows are mooing away cos their babbies have just been taken away ( very sad cos they cry/ call for up to 5 days)
3rd, that I start the day with 2 rants!

Not a rant, but more of a sadness - last night in the house in Hull.

I've had weeks to do it, but ... cleaning, wiping, vacuuming like a mad man, whilst checking things on here and having a wee glass of vino.

No sleep tonight the way things are going.
