FiL. Ungrateful selfish b******. Always has been, don't know why I expected this time to be any different or why I agreed to him coming here for Christmas. Well done you ****, caused an argument between me and OH after everything I've done and the frankly appalling behaviour I've forgiven.

If it wasn't for the children he'd be out on his ear, Christmas or no Christmas.

Sorry, needed to get it off my chest. Smiles and nest foot forward tomorrow.

And my head still hurts from ninja turtle potty incident.....

Folk who blame Potty for Turtle Ninja incident when he was laid up unwell.................

People deliberately misunderstanding a post and mocking the afflicted - head injury by potty in the noble pursuit of ninja turtle games with a 3 year old is a serious and little talked about affliction

Also people who make me laugh and lift me out of my fully entitled -to grump!!

Chinese takeaway who disconnect their phone at the first sign of being busy. Then having to join a queue and wait for an hour before being served even though we are regular customers.

Sorry about that Happyhumph. We often do the "take away " option if we are out late and dont want to start cooking dinner from scratch. Its been our local for the past 20 years and this is the first time we have had to wait. It was a bit of a shock when it was unexpected.
Hang in there, the new year is just around the corner.

Scientists who haven't found the cure for the common cold...OH and myself feel rotten!

FiL again - discovered him walking down the road in a huff as he'd heard children opening Father Christmas presents in their rooms and decided he was being left out and would try to walk home (takes 2 hours to drive) !

So OH is now on his way back after driving him halfway there. Brother in law has delayed driving family over to his wifes recently bereaved father in order to meet him halfway.

Children think grampy doesn't love them. Last time he comes here ever.....

Families are not the easiest things to get on with, trust me I know. It must be very hard for you both trying not to let the kids see your frustration and anger.

Hopefully, your day will be calmer and happier once the next few hours have calmed down.

I've damaged the tendon down the front of my shin pulling 28 stone stacks of pies around 12 hours a day for 12 straight days. started limping on Tuesday and it's just got worse as the week went on. Thank goodness Saturday only had to work 6 hours.

Spent Christmas Day with leg up and ice pack. I'm expected to work 12 hours tomorrow, and the rest of the week.
