Can anyone remember some others ?
SP's marmalade v jam thread and BM's biscuit dunking thread. Oh neither of those have anything to do with GYO. I think it is safe to say I do enjoy random threads

Don't get me going on piggin' biscuit dunking cos I still can't get the hang of it. Now every time I get the biscuits out, I grab a spoon..............

the secret to it is,know your biscuits density, like so,choc ones melt, morning coffee one dip,and try, whilst the thicker ones, both cream centers and the thicker hard ones, need a bit more, only dip a small portion of biscuit at a time, the amount needed to go into the mouth, failing all else, suck in it
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

Choc ones - Messy but get your point.
Morning Coffee - They only have to look at the drink and fall in half. It must be the heat.
Custard Creams - Forget it, they just split in half.
Dip a mouthful at a time - That'll be the whole biscuit then....................

Disappointed FB has up sticks. Thought I hadn't seen his moniker in awhile. If that guy ever wrote a book on fruit trees I'd be first in the queue! As I recall the subject of my first few posts on this forum was seeking apple advice, and I was helped very much . Orangepippin very knowledgeable so that's another loss. And of course fellow chilli aficionado's are always going to be missed
I'm not a Facebooker or blogger, and I tend to come and go here. I used to use the BBC gardening forum until that closed. But I can't imagine other forums covering more than this one does.

I've seen Orangepippin mentioned a few times -is it the same person that runs the orangepippin website and fruit tree sales business ?

                      Cheers VC.

Strangely enough our School has just recently done some business with them. We're looking forward to the various trees/bushes we've ordered.

I'm sorry for straying off topic, again -but...

Just to add to my last post - said company informed me today that our delivery of fruit trees/bushes are due next Tuesday.
Their communication and customer service has been first class throughout the whole process.

It's the tiny touches for me - you send them the order and they were straight back giving advice about some of the plants we had ordered, that their main fruit picking time was in August - would they be suitable for a School when everyone was away for Summer hols, etc.

                        A1 so far.

Thank you. It's getting there, takes a long time to establish things but it's all positive, and very exhausting! I am not quite sick of pizzas yet as my OH keeps inventing new ones, and I just have to try them before releasing them on the public. Sort of an official taste tester ahem! Also, I've lost weight! Before you get the idea that I rolled myself into the forum! Haven't got time to do stuff like eating!
