I have finally after a year and a few months learnt how to subscribe to threads

Now i still need to learn how to flip my photos and search the forum!!! seriously though i cannot work out searching

For searching on here, I confess I generally use goggle, type what I'm looking for and add growfruitandveg forum on the end. It throws up our forums usually within the first three or four sites.

A sticky would be awesome, it does seem a hard search as normally you can just type in what you want and a million searches with that name either in title or thread will come up.
Glad i am not the only one, i have to be honest relied on others just to link in my threads to what i want and i am thankful

Search is quite easy if you're devious, especially if you're looking for a particular post/thread.
Go to the Advanced Search at the top of the page and you have all sorts of options. - like who posted it, or when (by reducing the timescale for the search).
Its better to search for unusual words, than something ordinary/vague.
When you find a thread with the searched word in it, it doesn't go straight to the post but to the start of the thread. You then Search that thread (at the top of the page) and all instances of the word will be highlighted.

I have no idea how to subscribe to a thread. I have to search though my previous posts to find stuff.
To flip my photos I flip them before I up load them.
How rubbish am I.
